Pre-Tournament

  1. Registration form & payment MUST be submitted before a team is completely registered for a tournament.

    • Our tournaments have sold out early the past seven (7) years. Register early, because if we sell out before the registration deadline, we will close registration early. (Typically if a team registers early but does not pay, staff will send a reminder when the tournament is close to selling out).

  2. A $50 transaction fee will be deducted from all refunds up to 15 days prior to the event. NO REFUNDS WILL BE ISSUED WITHIN 14 DAYS OF THE EVENT.

  3. Schedule Requests will be considered but are not always possible. We will review all schedule requests but they are NOT GUARANTEED to be accommodated.

  4. Registration Forms allow for two (2) coaches to be listed. The coaches MUST be listed on the original registration form to receive a wristband at check-in. (IF A COACH IS NOT LISTED ON THE ORIGINAL REGISTRATION FORM, THEY WILL NOT BE GIVEN A WRISTBAND AT CHECKIN AND MUST PAY TO ENTER).

    • Scorekeepers are NO LONGER being listed on our registration form as we will now provide scorekeepers and clock operators for all games. Only two (2) coaches per team will receive wristbands.

  5. Final rosters will be required to be sent prior to the event. Email correspondence will provide the date that rosters are due and the format in which to submit rosters. Rosters MUST be submitted by the date given and MUST be in the format that was provided (NO EXCEPTIONS).

    • Rosters may NOT be changed once they have been submitted and NO names/players may be added to a roster on game day. If a team attempts to add a player on the day of, a technical foul will be accessed.

    • Based on the rosters that are submitted prior to the tournament, the score sheets will be pre-generated and will be at the scores table before each game. NO players will be able to be added to the score sheet. Numbers may be added or changed at the scores table ONLY if a reason is discussed with the tournament director prior to the tournament start date. (If it is not discussed prior, numbers will NOT be able to be added or adjusted).

    • If something does not match up, a technical foul will be assessed and the player and/or team could be disqualified.

  6. Coaches MUST check in your team before your first game. If you have not checked in you will NOT be able to play until you do so. (game time is forfeit time).

    • Please arrive 30-40 minutes before your first game to check in. Doors will open 30 minutes before the first games start. ONLY coaches listed on the registration form that was sent in during the team's registration and payment process will receive a wristband. (please bring a Government issued I.D. for the check in process - If a coach is unable to verify who they are, then they will not receive a wristband and will be required to pay for entry).

Tournament - GAME RULES

  1. Game times are by the hour, however, our tournaments typically run early so we WILL get started early for our next games. Please be at least 30-40 minutes early for your games in the event that we are to start games early. WE WILL START EARLY IF GAMES END EARLY!

  2. GAME TIME IS FORFEIT TIME. The game will be played, but it will be recorded as a forfeit if a team is not there at the start time if the game. (Even if a game starts early, the early start time is forfeit time. Please be at your games 30-40 minutes early). It will also be running clock until the game is caught up.

  3. Five (5) minute warm-up time.

  4. Three (3) Minute Halftime break.

  5. Sixteen (16) minute halves- running clock until five (5) minutes of each half and then it is stopped clock.

  6. Home team is listed 2nd or on the BOTTOM and will wear light colors.

  7. Tie Breaker is in this order: 1. Record, 2. Head-to-Head, 3. Points Against, 4. Point Differential.

  8. Per the new High School rule that eliminates 1:1 foul shots once teams are in the "bonus," we are aligning with that rule and teams will now shoot Two (2) free throws at Ten (10) fouls per half.

  9. A player is disqualified at SIX (6) personal fouls.

  10. OVERTIME

    • 1ST OT= One (1) Minute (one (1) additional timeout awarded)

    • 2ND OT= Sudden death (1st team to score any points wins)

  11. Four (4) Timeouts are allowed per game. Two (2) Full & Two (2) Thirty (This is for the whole game. You may choose to use all four (4) in the first half, but once they are used, they are used).

  12. If the lead gets above 20 points, the clock runs. As soon as the lead is below 20 points, it goes back to stopped clock (at 5 minutes and below in each half).

  13. Teams must have both light jerseys and dark jerseys. Home team is listed SECOND or on the BOTTOM in pool play and bracket play. Home team wears light jerseys and MUST be distinguishable from opponents. Players' jerseys MUST have numbers on the front and the back.

  14. Ball Size:

    • All Girls - 28.5

    • Boys 3rd-5th Grade/9u-11u - 28.5

    • Boys 6th Grade/12u & Up - 29.5

  1. COACHES ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE BEHAVIOR OF THEIR PLAYERS, COACHING STAFF AND SPECTATORS AND SHOULD BE SURE THAT ALL PARTIES UNDERSTAND THAT PLAYERS-PLAY, COACHES-COACH, OFFICIALS-OFFICIATE & SPECTATORS-SPECTATE. ANY UNRULY PERSON CAN AND WILL BE REMOVED FROM THE FACILITY BY THE TOURNAMENT STAFF AND/OR THE LOCAL AUTHORITIES WITH NO REFUND. TEAM MAY ALSO BE REMOVED FROM THE TOURNAMENT WITH NO REFUND

    • IF SOMEONE IS CAUGHT SNEAKING IN TO ANY FACILITY THEY WILL BE REMOVED FROM THE FACILITY AND TEAM COULD BE DISQUALIFIED WITH NO REFUND. (COACHES SPEAK TO YOUR OTHER COACHES, PARENTS, FAMILIES & SPECTATORS ABOUT THIS)

  2. IF A PLAYER OR COACH IS INVOLVED IN ANY PHYSICAL OR VERBAL ALTERCATION DURING THE GAME WITH ANOTHER PLAYER, COACH, OFFICIAL STAFF, AND/OR SPECTATOR, THE INDIVIDUAL AND TEAM MAY BE REMOVED FROM THE GAME AND THE TOURNAMENT WITH NO REFUND. (TOURNAMENT/FACILITY DIRECTORS DISCRETION).

    • ANY COACH EJECTED FOR FIGHTING WILL BE INELIGIBLE FOR THE REMAINDER OF THE TOURNAMENT.

    • ATHLETES EJECTED FOR FIGHTING ARE INELIGIBLE TO PARTICIPATE IN THE TEAM’S NEXT GAME. ADDITIONAL PENALTIES UP TO PLAYER & TEAM EXCLUSION FROM THE TOURNAMENT MAY BE IMPOSED BY THE TOURNAMENT STAFF.

    • IF A COACH OR PLAYER IS EJECTED FROM A GAME FOR UNSPORTSMANLIKE BEHAVIOR (NOT FIGHTING), HE/SHE MAY BE INELIGIBLE TO PARTICPATE IN THE NEXT SCHEDULED GAME. THIS WILL BE DETERMINED BY THE SEVERITY OF THE INCIDENT AND WILL BE DECIDED BY THE TOURNAMENT/FACILITY DIRECTOR. (THE RULING IS FINAL)

    • IF A COACH OR PLAYER IS EJECTED A SECOND TIME, THEY WILL BE INELIGIBLE FOR THE REMAINDER OF THE TOURNAMENT.

    • VERBAL OR PHYSICAL AGGRESSION OR ANY OTHER UNSAFE OR POOR BEHAVIOR AT ANY OTHER TIME (NON-GAME TIMES) DURING THE EVENT WILL ALSO LEAD TO THE INDIVIDUAL BEING REMOVED AND DISQUALIFIED FROM THE EVENT. THIS INCLUDES COACHES, PLAYERS, SPECTATORS, ETC…

  3. COACHES ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE SAFETY OF EACH INDIVIDUAL INVOLVED WITH THEIR TEAM. WE ALSO ASK THAT COACHES PLEASE LEAVE THE FACILITY AND/OR BENCH AREA IN THE WAY IN WHICH THEY FOUND IT (CLEAN).

  4. COACHES PLEASE ASK YOUR PLAYERS, OTHER COACHES AND FAMILIES TO RESPECT BARRIERS. IF THERE IS A BARRIER BLOCKING OFF A SECTION OF THE FACILITY, IT IS BECAUSE THAT PART OF THE FACILITY IS OFF LIMITS AND NOT ALLOWED TO BE ACCESSED. ANYONE FOUND TO GO THROUGH/PAST A BARRIER WILL BE ASKED TO LEAVE THE FACILITY WITHOUT A REFUND.

  5. THE USE OF ANY ILLEGAL PLAYER IS AUTOMATIC DISQUALIFICATION FROM THE TOURNAMENT FOR THE WHOLE TEAM WITH NO REFUND. THIS INCLUDES ANY PLAYER THAT IS NOT LISTED ON THE ORIGINAL ROSTER SHEET EMAILED TO THE TOURNAMENT DIRECTOR, ANY PLAYER PLAYING IN THE WRONG AGE GROUP, OR ANY PLAYER THAT IS PLAYING ON TWO OR MORE TEAMS IN THE SAME DIVISION.

    • ONLY PLAYERS LISTED ON THE ORIGINAL ROSTER SHEET EMAILED TO THE TOURNAMENT DIRECTOR ARE ELIGIBLE TO PLAY. (NO PLAYER CAN BE ADDED, AND NO ROSTERS WILL BE ACCEPTED AFTER THE DEADLINE. IF THE ROSTER IS NOT RECEIVED BY THE DEADLINE, TEAM FORFEITS THEIR SPOT IN THE TOURNAMENT AND NO REFUND WILL BE AWARDED).

    • PLAYERS MUST BE PLAYING IN THEIR CORRECT AGE GROUP. AAU RULES WILL BE USED IN DETERMINING AGE GROUPS. (UNSIGNED SENIORS MAY PLAY WITH TEAMS IN THE HIGH SCHOOL DIVISION (17u) – IF THERE IS A MIDDLE SCHOOL DIVISION IT WILL BE 7TH & 8TH GRADERS). THERE IS A FEE OF $50 FOR ANY TEAM WANTING TO PROTEST THE AGE OR GRADE OF AN OPPOSING PLAYER/TEAM. (PLEASE HAVE BIRTH CERTIFICATES AND REPORT CARDS ON HAND FOR PROOF OF AGE AND GRADE – FAILURE TO PROVIDE PROOF OF AGE AND GRADE WILL RESULT IN DISQUALIFICATION OF TEAM WITH NO REFUND).

    • PLAYERS ARE ONLY ALLOWED TO PLAY FOR ONE (1) TEAM IN ANY DIVISION IN THE TOURNAMENT (A PLAYER CAN PLAY FOR MULTIPLE TEAMS ONLY IF THOSE TEAMS ARE IN DIFFERENT DIVISIONS).

RULES ARE AT TOURNAMENT/FACILITY DIRECTOR’S DISCRETION AND IN A RARE OCURANCE, CAN BE MODIFIED AT ANY TIME BASED ON CIRCUMSTANCES AND SPECIFICS. YOUR FUTURE BASKETBALL STRIVES TO HOST HIGH QUALITY AND HIGH INTEGRITY EVENTS. IT IS OUR GOAL FOR EACH TEAM, PLAYER & SPECTATOR TO HAVE A POSITIVE EXPERIENCE AT OUR EVENTS.
